President Reagan had a plaque on his desk in the oval office that stated, “There's no limit to what a man can do or where he can go if he doesn't mind who gets the credit.” When you care about people, you want them to succeed and you don’t get jealous when they get the credit. It’s about teamwork.. working toward a common goal. When one person wins, everyone wins. But not everyone thinks that way. Some people don’t have a greater vision in mind. They’re simply seeking ways to fulfil their need for validation. But isn’t that based on insecurity? “I NEED this win to prove my worth”. When you care about people and see THEIR worth, you can work at helping THEM rise up to THEIR fullest potential... and the task still gets done.
