Winston Churchill said “When you’re 20 you care what everyone thinks, when you’re 40 you stop caring what everyone thinks, when you’re 60 you realize no one was ever thinking about you in the first place.”
Now if we can just get to that place sooner than we'll be able to love others better because we'll realize it's not all about us. There's a lot of peace and joy and freedom that comes from knowing that not everybody is thinking about you, talking about you behind your back, and judging you. People have their own business to mind and their own things to worry about... when you consider how little you dwell on the circumstances of others, you’ll learn how little others dwell upon you. You’ll feel freer, AND be able to shift your focus on thinking about how can I serve God and help other people more. Happy Monday
