“When someone gives you a “no”, God is giving you a “knowing”. It’s Care, this week’s Monday Motivation quote is from Jamie Kern Lima, who started IT Cosmetics from her living room and grew the company to a point where she sold it to L’Oréal in a billion-dollar deal, and became the first female CEO of a brand in L’Oréal’s 100+ year history. But her journey there wasn’t easy... it was full of rejection and self-doubt. She was rejected for not being the right look and for dreaming too big, and was told ‘No’ 300 times over several years! Yet her response was to be still and pray... to ask what God is saying about her.
Have you ever heard rejection or said it to yourself?
She turned down the volume on all those No’s and listened to the knowing. He (God) has a different answer about who you are.
Jamie learnt that our greatest setbacks are often God’s greatest set-ups.
So when someone (and maybe it’s YOU) gives you a ‘no’, God is giving you a ‘knowing’... and the question is, WHO WILL YOU LISTEN TO?
