Be a quitter this year.
Studies show around 80% of people give up on their New Year's resolutions by the second Friday in January!
So here are three things you SHOULD quit:
1. Quit saying Yes to things automatically. A “Yes” to something may mean you're saying “No” to what matters most. I've been learning how to do what I never thought I could: Pause before committing. Having NO boundaries is actually what leads to burnout.
2. Quit being Right. What we think we know - based on what we've experienced or even what we haven't seen – can be putting walls up. I know sometimes MY need to win an argument can get in the way when it usually doesn't even matter. Allow yourself to be proven wrong, and you’ll experiencing healing in your relationships and within yourself.
3. And quit negative self-Talk. I heard someone say “Self bullying is still bullying, even when it comes from inside”. For many of us, the harshest voice we hear is our own. Learn to listen to the Voice of Truth instead.
