A Growing Community of Families

I had the pleasure of attending Ottawa’s Parent and Child Expo for the second time. This event is great especially for young families, to learn about local resources and materials to help shape the minds of their little ones and support parents. Compared to last year, this event has grown significantly.

Don’t get me wrong, the October event was awesome, but it was in a rather small size hall. This year, the expo filled two whole arenas! The tough thing with these kinds of shows is the difficulty of keeping the young children that attend totally captivated. However, the increase in interactive activities really made it easier on the whole family to just have a great time. I personally didn’t have a ton of time to enjoy all the exciting things the expo had to offer, but I could truly tell by the faces of guests that they made a good decision to attend.

From the CHRI booth, it was so wonderful to meet so many of our amazing listeners! I was truly impressed by how many of you I actually had the pleasure of conversing with. It was awesome to shake your hand, learn your name, and meet your families.
