I found a nugget of wisdom in a Disney movie! In the first Moana, the fictional character is on a raft facing the tide that's keeping her from moving ahead. And she says with determination AND HOPE : “There's more beyond the reef”.
When I'm struggling, facing something hard or stressful, it's really difficult to see past it. We have such a small scope of view and we don't know it all... but God sees the whole thing. He is looking at the big picture and He knows what He’s doing.
There are a lot of things that will happen in life that we won’t understand. It is during those times that we must fall back on what we do understand... There's a better day beyond this one that makes today worth persevering.
This, right where you're standing, is not all there is.
