"The late Reverend Billy Graham, who certainly left a global legacy by dedicating his life t boldly sharing the Bible! - said: “Courage is contagious. When a brave man takes a stand, the spines of others are often stiffened.”
The first time I put myself out there and auditioned for a LEAD part in musical was hard and scary. I braced for the rejection call when I was cast, yet again, as ‘dance chorus’. But you know what? I became a little more fearless and tried again, and again.
See, I had gotten to know the performers that I watched and admired more personally, and saw that they were regular people also putting themselves out there. So I thought ‘why not give it a shot?’
Bravely stepping out of your comfort zone also has the power to spur on others to muster up the fortitude to do what they, maybe, never dared to do before. We are influenced AND influential. What we do has a ripple effect. “Courage is contagious"
