This week's Monday Motivation quote was said by Bob Proctor “Faith and fear both demand you believe in something you cannot see."
We all respond to hardship differently. In one single day last week I heard about a family I used to be close with losing their 35-year-old twin daughter unexpectedly, I heard from a listener whose dog was hit by a car, and an old family friend getting diagnosed with cancer. My feelings in the situation may be different than others...I am not feeling hopeless, I'm not angry with God, but I am very sad and, frankly, scared. I don't want something bad to happen to my family. But knowing that anything can happen and so much is beyond our control... All I know to do is lean on the Lord. I can’t see Him, but I know He’s there and I believe He brings purpose from the pain and promises us a day with no more tears. Faith leads us to a greater and better future than fear ever will.
