This week’s Monday Motivation quote is "Don't let your dream derail you from your destiny."
We put a lot of weight on the dreams driven by passion & desire and they often don't look the same as Destiny: what we were meant for. You can look at it as: a Dream is your choice, and Destiny is God's will.
When I was young I dreamed of being a singer or a Broadway star. Moving to New York and travelling the world wasn't what God had planned for me but I've been able to perform on many stages and lead worship.
What did you want to be when you were a kid? Maybe like my son you wanted to be a T-Rex? Sometimes our dreams are just childish and, we actually learn later when we grow in wisdom "I actually don't want that".
Don't listen to the advice of “never give up on your dream", because giving up on it could free you up for something that is much better. Happy Monday!
