Hey it’s Care! This week’s Monday Motivation is a quote you’ve probably heard before, but I don’t know who said it: “We can’t always choose the music life plays for us, but we can choose how we dance to it.”

When I reed this quote I immediately think of my daughter. She’s only 11 months but SHE knows how to dance! She will start grooving to ANYTHING that makes noise. And it doesn’t have to be a ‘joyful melodic’ noise for her to express herself through dance. And I know, I know, easy for her! she doesn’t have any responsibilities in life; she doesn’t feel the stress of finances or the weight of a strained relationship, but everything is music to her - and I think that’s really beautiful! She is my daily reminder that it’s ok to dance: that it’s FREEING to dance!

I’m a firm believer in ‘you can’t always control what happens to you but you CAN control how you respond to it’. Cuz after all, our response is our responsibility!
So, even if all life seems to be bringing you right now is noise, just dance!
