Dear CHRI Family,
Thank you for bringing hope and joy to so many this Christmas as you continue to support CHRI.
We start our regular Christmas music right after Remembrance Day, and this year most of our listeners couldn’t wait for that transition into the Christmas Spirit! Perhaps it’s because there have been some unusually dark times for many, but knowing Christ and the true meaning of Christmas will shed light on the darkest of nights.
Take for example that famous story from long, long ago, of shepherds huddled around a campfire, terrified when an angel of the Lord appeared. And the angel said to the shepherds who were watching over their flock, “Do not be afraid, I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the world”. Luke 2:10
Today the word of God is still speaking to us at a time when we really need the good news “...that a saviour has been born to us, and that He is the Messiah!” Luke 2:11
Let’s continue together to lift ‘all the world’ (and especially those who are fearful or angry!) by lifting the story of Jesus up to them, every night and day... on CHRI!
Our prayer for you, is a Christmas filled with peace and joy, as we celebrate all the great things that came from that one dark night in Bethlehem. We Thank God for His Son and we Thank You for being there for CHRI-FM.
Merry Christmas!
From Bill & the CHRI Team
