Ohhh the classic memory box. It may be a generic summer activity at this point, but we still love the idea of keeping a physical keepsake of your memories. You can take a thousand photos, but there is something uniquely special about HOLDING a seashell you got from your trip to Nova Scotia, or a ticket from that festival you attended, or even a printed photograph of a special moment. Source a wooden box, pickup some paints and craft supplies to decorate, and starting filling your 2024 Summer Memory Box! This is a great activity to do with the family, a group of friends or even on your own!

1. Source a wooden box. You can get a small one or a big one! You can also use a cardboard shoe box for a more cost effective solution.
2. Pick up some paint and craft supplies, like stickers, glitter, foam letters, and anything else you might want to decorate with.
3. Lay out some newspaper or a tarp, and get decorating! Paint your name, an abstract design, a summer-inspired design, or anything else you wish to decorate on it.
4. Fill your box with keepsakes as summer progresses. Ideas: seashells, event tickets, answered prayers, rocks, souvenirs, polaroid photos, artwork, cards & letters, summer journal, etc.
