What is Christmas Like for an Unsponsored Child?

This Wednesday and Thursday we are hosting a Compassion Canada radio-thon. Our hope is to find sponsors for 120 deserving kids. This will be 2 days of storytelling, laughter and praise. Here's an awesome blog post from Brianne Mullins, Compassion International's Internet Communications Specialist. We pray that you spend the next two days with us and take part in changing a child's life!

What a Hug Means

There are no words to describe or to say thank you for the sacrifice soldiers and their families make.  This Remembrance Day take a moment to remember what has been given for our freedom in Canada and for all we have in our lives. Thanks to Lynn Fraser for sharing this video with me.  Make sure you grab the box of tissues before you hit play.

Notes From Home

Expectation vs Reality After a Not-So-Good Weekend

On Saturday I was in Montreal with a group of friends at La Ronde Amusement Park. It was a great day! We grabbed Starbucks on the way out of Ottawa, chatted about what was happening in our lives on the way down, found the park with no problem with the help of "Holly" our GPS, parked the car and headed into the park for a day of screaming and laughter.
