When I consider standard practices 35 years ago when I entered the real estate industry versus today's best practices, it's pretty mind-blowing. At that time, we agents assessed properties on behalf of our clients. Based on one tiny black-and-white thumbnail exterior image and a brief description, in a book that looked much like the yellow pages and was to remain in our possession exclusively. Now, people can access 30 high-resolution photos, full online home tours, and google earth imaging that is current and accessible to the minute. This is just one of the little changes in the industry. In this episode of LIFE's Inside Track, we'll consider the relevant information you, as a buyer or seller, need to know regarding best practices of the past, present, and anticipated game-changing updates in the next year.
