From Bill Stevens, GM and the CHRI Team and Volunteers

I’m turning to you because you’ve taken the time to donate to the ministry of CHRI.

As you may know, it’s been on our hearts for several years to reach further into Quebec for all the good reasons, and we’ve succeeded in receiving a license from the CRTC to broadcast on 90.7 FM in West Island Montreal. We are very thankful and couldn’t have done it without your support.

Our host church is Lakeside Heights Baptist church in Pointe-Claire. After being lifted over several physical and regulatory hurdles, we’ve been hit with what we hope and pray is the last one!

Do you think you could do it? Save $5050 in 100 days? Well, some are trying. A new trend on TikTok has people attempting to save money in the ‘100 envelope challenge’. You start with 100 envelopes and some cash, write one number from 1-100 on each envelope, and then shuffle them. Each day you pick up an envelope, and whatever number you draw, you fill it with that amount of cash.

Easy. Right?

Budget-Friendly Valentine's Day Ideas

Untitled design - 2023-02-06T182044.611.pngBased on 2022 numbers, the average person who participates in Valentine’s Day will spend roughly $175.41 on a gift! If I’m being honest, I would prefer my husband didn’t spend money on me. We have bills to pay! LOL

While I don’t think gifts are necessary for the holiday, I do think it's important to do something together to mark the occasion. Even if it can't be on the 14th, be intentional about taking time together as a couple or as a family.

If you’re looking for cheap (*achem, pardon me, I mean “budget-friendly”) date ideas, read more.
