Owl City is a project by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Adam Young formed in 2007. Young began experimenting with music in his parents' basement as a diversion from sleep insomnia then developed his following on Myspace.
He released his fourth studio album "The Midsummer Station" in August 2012 and has recorded songs for films, including; Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, Wreck-It Ralph, and The Croods.
